Sertifi Tool Rollout Update
As previously communicated, Marriott International has partnered with Sertifi to offer a secure method of sending/receiving third-party credit card authorization forms to hotels. The cost of Sertifi is included as part of the Program Services Fund (PSF), and as such, we highly recommend that hotels utilize Sertifi under the Marriott enterprise license. If your hotels do not participate in the PSF and choose to use Sertifi, the costs will be billed separately as communicated in the 2019 budget instructions. Additionally, please note the deployment for Sertifi to SPG hotels has now moved up from January 7 to December 19.
For management companies whose hotel(s) are under an existing contract with Sertifi, you have the opportunity to opt-in to the enterprise license for your hotels and discontinue your current contract (Marriott International brands only). If you choose to opt-in, there is some minimal back-end work that Sertifi will need to do to switch your hotel to the MI technical environment. Your hotels’ Sertifi portal, data, and user access will remain the same, but your users will then log in with their Marriott EID credentials and URL, instead of their Sertifi credentials and URL.
Note: we plan to deploy Sertifi to all Marriott Rewards hotels in Q1 and will provide updates on this deployment as they become available.
Should you wish to opt-in or have any questions, contact Pooja Kumar by December 12 with your list of hotel(s) and MARSHA code(s). Additionally, Sertifi may also reach out to your hotel on appropriate next steps.
