March 8 Franchise Management Company Webinar

Thank you for joining us on Friday, March 8, for the Franchise Management Company Webinar. If you were unable to join, a recorded version and a PDF of the presentation are now available (EID and password required).

Topics and resources discussed on the webinar included: Talent Point by Marriott, OneSource Brand Standard and Key Dates/Deadlines.

  • Talent Point by Marriott | An HR solutions group within Marriott International that provides optional HR service offerings to franchisee’s entire portfolio, including non-Marriott flagged properties. Talent Point enables franchise partners to use these offerings at preferred pricing.
  • OneSource Brand Standard | A new global brand standard has been developed to ensure that all properties are connected to Marriott International’s group sales application. This implementation of OneSource affects properties that do not have CI/TY, SFAWeb or OneSource.
    • Deployment Timeline | Activities will begin in Q2 and deployment will occur in a geographic waved approach. Over the course of a 30 – 45-day period, each in-scope hotel will be asked to:
      • Identify two sales associates per hotel (or GM/regional contact(s) if the hotel does not have 2 sales associates)
      • Attend Training: Training will be held online in the Digital Learning Platform (DLP) and should take less than 5 hours to complete
      • Ensure access and PC compatibility (i.e., Internet Explorer)
      • Attend a “Getting Started” Webinar
    • Cost: No charge for hotels open prior to Dec 31, 2018.  All new-opening hotels in 2019 and beyond will receive a one-time OneSource Activation charge of $600.
    • Communication will be sent via the Weekly Update to share next steps with hotels.
    • Questions regarding the OnceSource Brand Standard can be sent to: city.sfaweb.communications@marriott.com.
