Hotels Without CI/TY or SFAWeb/GPO to Implement OneSource
Details regarding deployment are being shared with hotels via the May 6 edition of the Weekly Update and a subsequent Land-It tasklist.
As previously communicated, hotels that do not have CI/TY or SFAWeb/GPO will be required to implement OneSource. OneSource is a centralized system to provide consolidated routing and response of electronic group RFPs from multiple channels, including: Global Sales Organization (GSO), Group Sales Teams, Omaha National Group Sales, property-to-property cross sells, and Marriott.com, which includes QuickGroup (for participating properties).
Timeline:
A waved deployment will begin in May and will be complete by the end of the year.
- Canada: Begins May 20 with a Go-Live date of June 13
- U.S.: Five waves, by franchise management company, with the first one beginning July 8 with a Go-Live date of August 1
Cost:
There is no charge for hotels that were open prior to Dec. 31, 2018. All new-opening hotels in 2019 and beyond will receive a one-time OneSource Activation charge of $600. This replaces the charge of $235 per user.
Additional Information & Resources:
Each hotel will be asked to select two associates to use OneSource. All training will be completed in the Digital Learning Platform (DLP) and will take less than five hours to complete.
