GPOS/Simphony BSA Question to be Added in July 2019
The Global Point of Sale (GPOS) team will be adding a GPOS/Simphony question on the Brand Standard Audit (BSA) for legacy Marriott-branded hotels in July 2019. The GPOS Brand Standard was launched in 2016 to:
- Standardize point-of-sale platforms
- Support current and future systemic integrations
Exclusions for the brand standard and audit include:
- Autograph Collection and Marriott Vacation Club brands
- MSB hotels without a restaurant
- Hotels with third-party restaurants
- Hotels who are currently in the process of installing GPOS or are otherwise exempt (see the GPOS Live Property List for exemptions, exceptions and extensions)
The GPOS audit question will be worth 16 points. If your hotel has not installed GPOS, please refer to the GPOS MGS Page to identify next steps.
