PAST DUE	Select Marriott Bonvoy Connector(s) in Land-It. {DUE APRIL 26} The Marriott Bonvoy Connector is an evolution of the Loyalty Champion role, but the Marriott Bonvoy Connector role is more than a name change. It is an opportunity to take Marriott Bonvoy and create a completely new experience for guests and associates. Ensure your hotels are selecting a Connector in Land-It where they would normally select a property coach.	Land-It
PAST DUE	Cobalt Training and GM Certification Due {DUE JUNE 12} Due to a systems issue, the Cobalt Program activation has been delayed. As a result, hotels should not activate program benefits on June 12. While Cobalt member reservations may appear in the PMS and GXP, hotels should not provide Cobalt Program benefits to these members until they receive notification that the program has been formally activated. In the meantime, ensure that the General Manager Certification is completed and the Cobalt Program Activation Certification Form has been submitted. Due June 30 *Deadline Extended*	Distinctive Select Brands: Nominate Culture Sidekicks The Culture Sidekick program brings brand culture to life on property, driving the success of programs that energize and empower the team and improve the hotel’s overall service experience from a distinctive perspective. GMs are asked to select one Culture Sidekick per hotel and work with him/her to certify by June 30.	MGS
June 30	Global Food Safety Audit (GFSA) Due The Global Food Safety Audit is to be conducted quarterly to comply with Marriott International Brand Standards.	MGS
July 1	Legacy SPG Brands: Label Guestroom Recycling Bins Before July 1 Review the guestroom recycling standard (OPS-SUS-020) and resources on MGS to ensure guestroom recycling bins are properly labeled. The labels will be included on the BSA beginning in July.	MGS
July 1	Global Point of Sale (GPOS) to be Included on BSA A 16-point GPOS/Simphony question will be added to the Brand Standard Audit (BSA) for legacy Marriott-branded hotels beginning July 1, 2019.	MGS
July 15	Gift Card Training The acceptance of gift cards has been expanded to additional outlets in the hotel as applicable (F&B, Spa, Retail, etc.). All hotels should revisit their applicable training for gift cards and encourage associates who have not completed the training, or may need a refresher, to take it before July 15 to ensure hotel teams are prepared to accept and redeem gift cards.
