Four Points F&B Evolution: Breakfast & Best Brews

Hotels will be made aware of this refresh via the Aug. 18 version of the Weekly Update.

Four Points Owners & Franchise Management Companies | As the Four Points F&B experience continues to evolve, we are focused on improving the guest experience in F&B operations by:

  • Providing greater consistency of the menu across the brand.
  • Differentiating F&B offerings from other brands.
  • Driving higher sales and revenue by providing an experience that appeals to the target guest.
  • Creating better value for owners by introducing F&B that is consistent with select brand tier offerings.

The brand is realigning to fit with the Four Points’ core values of Honest, Comfort and Uncomplicated to support this evolution. Below are updates to two F&B offerings which are brand standards and will be included in the BSA starting on January 1, 2020.

Best Brews

All Four Points hotels offer craft beers on tap and Best Brews is the signature brand program. These micro local beers are small-batch boutique beers with limited distribution and have been brewed within 50 miles. This is a great way to bring the local into your hotel(s).

The Best Brews program is being refreshed to provide guests with a more consistent and elevated nightly experience. As part of the refresh, Four Points hotels will receive a shipment of new collateral items and supplies to begin using immediately. The kit also includes implementation and usage guidelines.

Visit MGS for additional information including the activation guide, e-training, required collateral, vendor information and additional resources on the refreshed Best Brews program.

F&B GSS Performance Thresholds

As a reminder, to ensure a consistent guest experience, we have implemented F&B GSS performance thresholds for all eligible Four Points hotels in the U.S. and Canada, which took effect beginning in the July – December 2019 wave.

Breakfast

The Four Points Breakfast Refresh is part of a larger initiative aimed at driving consistency across the brand and differentiating Four Points from sister brands such as Courtyard and Aloft. Until now, many Four Points hotels had F&B offerings that aligned more with those of full-service hotels. Furthermore, the offerings and delivery varied greatly between hotels, leading to an inconsistent guest experience across the brand. The Four Points breakfast is based on familiar breakfast classics that support the brand values of honest, uncomplicated and comfort. The new Four Points Breakfast program features all the essentials of a classic Sunday breakfast with the family: bacon, eggs, toast, cereal, a variety of fruits and yogurts and complimentary juice and coffee.

As part of the new Breakfast program, hotels will be required to choose to serve either a la carte or buffet. For additional information including menus and training resources, visit MGS
