FSPMS Hotels with ScerIS Servers to Transition to MyDigitalOffice (MDO) in February 2020

ScerIS, the on-premise server solution for FSPMS hotels to store night audit and other property reports, is being replaced by myDigitalOffice (MDO), a cloud-based solution. Historical reports from ScerIS will be moved to MDO by the FSPMS Support team; however, in order to retain PMS report storage, all properties that have a ScerIS server must transition to MDO by Feb. 1, 2020 to continue automated storage of night audit and related property reports.
MDO Benefits
- Cloud-Based: 24/7 iT support provided by MDO – provides maintenance-free cloud storage
(note: an on-property server is no longer required) - Auto-Indexing: All reports from PMS are automatically indexed in a consistent and accurate manner
- Secure Access: Permissions are set to control access to specified reports based on the document itself; users will only have access to the reports that they are required to review and see
- Unlimited Users/Unlimited Storage: User access and storage requirements are unlimited
- Retention & Destruction: Automatically set retention and destruction rules to ensure that reports are kept only for the time period for which they are required (e.g. 3 years, 7 years, etc.)
- Centralized Repository: Reports are accessible in a central cloud-based repository – accessible by PC, Tablet and/or Smartphone
- Environmental Impact: Reduced environmental impact and associate time savings
