STR Forward Recommendation
STR (formerly Smith Travel), recently launched a new product called Forward STAR. Marriott International will be negotiating a new Global Master Services Agreement (MSA) once STR completes its sale to CoStar. This recommendation will have no impact on any existing services that STR provides.
Encourage your hotel(s) to wait until this agreement is finalized before agreeing to participate in any new STR products, as Marriott is likely to obtain more favorable pricing. More information will be provided once negotiations are complete.
