Program Services Fund (PSF) Invoice Deferrals
As a reminder, for the months of April and May, we had previously communicated that those invoices could be deferred until Sept. 1, 2020 with no interest charges. Please ensure that these invoices are paid prior to September 30. Interest charges will begin to be incurred on these invoices on October 1, 2020.

Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management Updates
U.S. & Canada Marriott Bonvoy™ Escapes Fall Sale
The marketing support of the Oct. 7 wave of Marriott Bonvoy™ Escapes targeting Fall leisure travel will be expanded to include refreshed creative messaging, email marketing, paid media, placement on m.com, and public relations support. All U.S. and Canada hotels are encouraged to participate in this wave to receive the benefit of extra marketing support. There is no action or additional cost required. Details, including an opt-out survey, will be emailed to HPP contacts the week of Sept. 28. Action Needed: Prepare for Marketing Support Changes and Secure New Services
As of Sept. 25, 2020, Field Marketing Shared Service will no longer provide dedicated account management support to hotels. To prepare for the change in support, currently participating hotels should review the steps outlined in this direct message sent on Sept. 15. Additional resources include:
- NEW: Field Marketing Resource Center on MGS. The Resource Center contains key information and resources on: Digital programs offered by Marriott Digital Services (MDS), approved Social Media & Creative vendors, Promotional/Demand Generation opportunities, PR/Crisis support, B2B marketing, FAQs and more.

RMAS: Sales Strategy Packets will be sent by Oct. 1
The new Shared Services organizations will launch on Sept. 28. During this week, Revenue Management Advisory Services (RMAS) leaders will be focused on on-boarding associates and those returning from furlough, as well as training associates on updated business processes and system changes. To allow for these activities, regularly scheduled strategy calls will be suspended the week of Sept. 28 and RMs will send the weekly strategy packets to the GM by Oct. 1. Thank you for your patience and partnership as associates are reintegrated to the new operating model. Please contact RMAS@marriott.com with questions.

No hotel action required – all Mobile Key hotels are eligible if property performance & guest criteria is fulfilled
Canada Hotels Only | Key Updates
- Web Check-In: Coming in Q4 – exact timing TBD based on technical work needed for Canadian French as well as SMS
- Chargeback Guarantee: Data analysis underway – additional details to be provided
- Electrostatic Sprayer Guidance: Electrostatic spraying function should not be used – continued analysis underway with Health Canada
All Hotels U.S. & CAN | Due Sept. 30 by 5 p.m. ET:
- Commitment to Clean Certification: All open hotels must complete the September Commitment to Clean Certification (hotels that open after Sept. 15 do not need to submit this month). For a faster, easier way to complete your Certification, download the QA app (also called “Deloitte TrueView”) if you don’t already have it. To learn more, review the FAQs for more details or email qa@marriott.com.
- Global Food Safety Audit (GFSA): Complete the GFSA to ensure the health and safety of associates and guests. The GFSA must be conducted and uploaded using the Self-Audit Tool on the QA Website. Review the following resources: Self-Audit Tool and BSA Resources.
