Integration Update | Business Alignment
Since completing the acquisition of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Marriott has begun the process of integrating more than 1,300 Starwood properties into the Marriott International portfolio. Additionally, work is underway to support our owner and franchisee value proposition, which includes five key components: revenue synergies, cost synergies, support, engagement, and simplification.
During the beginning of this journey, we have communicated several key updates, including:
Integration Update | Global Design
Integration Update | Development
Brand Architecture
As a key part of the overall integration process, Marriott has developed its new top-line brand positioning. In order to ensure that guests can easily navigate our brand portfolio and determine their preferred travel experience, we have structured the new portfolio into two main categories: Classic, which provides refreshing perspectives on timeless experiences, wherever you travel; and Distinctive, which provides remarkable experiences that bring you a unique point of view. Below is Marriott’s new global brand architecture.
