Property Engagement & Communications
As you may know, we have been communicating with former Starwood-branded properties since legal close of the Marriott and Starwood merger. Now that we are more than one month into the integration, properties will be shifting their focus toward deployment activities. With this in mind, we wanted to provide an update on what we’ll be sharing with or asking of property teams during this next phase of the integration.
We will continue to send a weekly email to General Managers and Hotel Leaders to address the key property activities for that week. We will also continue to host weekly Change Champion Check-In Calls, which are focused on sharing important updates and answering questions.
For franchise management companies, we want to ensure you remain informed throughout the process. If you wish to be included on these hotel-level communications as we move through the integration, please send an email to change.champions@marriott.com, and be sure to include your name, email address, and management company name.
Additionally, we wanted to inform you about Land-It, Marriott’s online implementation tool. This tool is used by properties to track tasks related to initiative deployments, and can be accessed by franchise management companies for status information across your portfolio. If you are interested in gaining access to Land-It, please complete the brief Request For Land-It Access survey. We will begin sharing information through this tool by mid-November.
