Franchise Management Companies | In an effort to ensure all hotels continue to receive support related to the integration, we delivered our monthly Change Champion email to all Marriott-branded hotels on January 5, which included a few informational items for review. The email also encouraged Change Champions to participate in this month’s Change Champion Check-In Calls, which were held on January 19.

Key topics discussed during that call include:

  • 6-Month Roadmap for Former Starwood Hotels | Introduced Champions to changes former Starwood hotels in North America will face in Q1 and Q2

  • Together We’re Better | Highlighted the value of Marriott + Starwood in-market

  • Business Councils | Emphasized the role Councils play in driving Marriott’s culture across the portfolio throughout the integration

  • Integration Updates

    • guestVoice launched to former Starwood-branded hotels on January 10, 2017

    • For Managed by Marriott hotels, the next key changes include the integration of HR and Finance systems

    • Sales & Marketing integrations are not scheduled to take place until 2018.
