Booking.com Contract Migration

Owners & Franchisees of Former Starwood-branded Hotels | As previously communicated, efforts are underway to migrate Starwood’s distribution agreements to Marriott’s terms with OTAs, TMCs and GDS, significantly reducing the cost of sale for bookings to owners and franchisees of former Starwood-branded hotels. We are pleased to inform you that we will migrate all former Starwood hotels to Marriott’s agreement terms with Booking.com on March 23.

 

Details will be shared with hotels via the March 20 Week Ahead emails. While no immediate activation work will be required, properties will be asked to update their Travel Agent Commission field on the Booking.com rate plans in Valhalla Portal to represent their new Booking.com commission. This is for information purposes only at the property level and will not be used for commission processing. Commission levels for all former Starwood properties will be changed by Booking.com centrally on March 23.
