Transcendent To Replace SynergyMMS
Transcendent is the web-based global engineering asset management application for Marriott International. The program allows properties to manage their assets, documents, and maintenance programs to protect guests, associates and building assets. Furthermore, it enables the administration of engineering processes, standards, and performance measurement and provides savings to hotels.
Transcendent will replace SynergyMMS, and Managed by Marriott (MxM) properties will begin implementation in July to complete in March 2018. As part of the Transcendent deployment, the Engineering standards related to Fire Life Safety, Water Safety, and preventive maintenance will be revised to ensure consistency enterprise-wide.
Transcendent provides the following benefits:
- Reduces property risk by implementing Life Safety and Water Safety Management Programs.
- Provides key metrics for the Engineering department to manage its assets.
- Ensures consistency in process and procedure across all hotels which allows all properties to benefit from our broad scope and scale for the long term.
After hotels implement Transcendent, an increase in associate productivity, guest satisfaction and reduced energy consumption is expected. It is anticipated to also provide an annual savings between $5,700 – $9,985, inclusive of software licensing, infrared testing, legionella testing and Fire Life Safety testing.
