One Yield v2: Latest Updates and Webinar Opportunities


Marriott continues to deploy One Yield v2 in waves to Marriott Rewards-participating hotels. The tool leverages Marriott’s award-winning, scientific approach to managing revenue. To date, 869 hotels have successfully launched One Yield v2. and nearly 4,000 hotels are underway in various phases of deployment.

Explore Program Update – TBD
Q: Why do I have to take the Explore rate (formerly known as associate rate) and when will it open?
A: This is an HR policy & brand standard and the following impact when it will open:
• The Explore rate is required to be offered within 90 days of arrival for days, forecasted less than 85% occupancy (80% Luxury Brands) in One Yield v2.
• Limited to 5% of capacity (3% for Luxury brands), MARSHA automatically enforces limits..
• Total occupancy is based on Group forecast (including to-bes), Contract Forecast, and One Yield v2 constrained forecast (which the user has the ability to influence).
• Overriding any input to force a constrained occupancy greater than 85% could impact the Retail rate recommendation and hurdle revenue, potentially restricting other business you want to take.
•One Yield v2 assists with automating Explore Rates to ensure they are available to eligible associates, owners and franchisees in accordance with the program policies. As reviewed on December 1, it also allows for the Minimum Room Authorization Caps (MRAC).
