SPG Hotels Begin EPIC Onboarding October 9

This information will be shared via the September 25 edition of the Week Ahead email to SPG Change Champions and GMs with more details on how to prepare for the EPIC onboarding process.

Enterprise Property Information Center (EPIC) is Marriott’s proprietary database designed to collect, store and distribute property level information for all Marriott properties globally. EPIC is the single source of Marriott’s property data and is a key tool used for selling and marketing properties.

Content populated in EPIC will serve as a foundation for many key systems onboarding in 2018. To ensure your property will meet all timelines for distribution to these systems, it is important for SPG hotels to begin reviewing and making updates to your data as needed. Continuing to maintain data consistency in both Valhalla and EPIC will ensure systems are accurate and up-to-date.

A targeted message will be distributed to all current Valhalla users with details of this transition, including next steps for users. Beginning Oct. 9, 2017, all SPG hotels will be responsible for updating property data in Valhalla and EPIC, and designated users will be responsible for maintaining content in both systems. SPG Change Champions and GMs will also receive an email on Oct. 9 to review the EPIC Land-It task list, and a Hotel Leader Briefing which summarizes the EPIC onboarding process will be available for reference.  Should you have any questions, contact support@marriott.com.
