Details Regarding Reservation Platform Systems


SPG Franchise Management Companies | As communicated to you earlier this week via the Owner & Franchisee Integration Update – February 2018, to ensure minimal disruption to the guest experience – and due to dependencies on the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) – the deployment strategy for the Reservations Platform is to transition hotels by brand on a specified date, in a compressed period of time.

A new online database has been created for SPG hotels to help them prepare for their brand’s system “cutover” date, by determining which systems they will transition to as part of the Reservations Platform. For hotels that will transition to Consolidated Inventory/Total Yield (CI/TY), additional action will be required, and these hotels will be provided with a Property Conversion Workbook in the coming days.

The online database is accessible via MGS. Note: you will need to enter your hotel’s SW PIN in order to access their detailed information, which includes their cutover date as well as which systems they will transition to on that date.

  • March 14 at 1 p.m. ET: Pricing and Segment Execution
  • March 21 at 1 p.m. ET: Marriott’s Distribution Strategy
