SPG Guestroom Recycling Brand Standard Update

SPG brands can now find the guest room recycling brand standard information (formerly OPS-SUS-016) in the Marriott Guest Room Recycling brand standard (OPS-SUS-020). Moving forward, OPS-SUS-016 will only be a public space recycling brand standard. No BSA changes are happening until July 2019, at which time SPG hotels will be able to continue using their existing bins but will need to label them per the instructions on MGS.

Additionally, for St. Regis and The Luxury Collection, hotels can continue recycling back-of-house until the implementation of recycling bins in the guestroom which will occur throughout 2019 and 2020.
