Franchise Management Companies | Moving forward, we will continue to provide a monthly recap of the key changes shared with – and tasks asked of – SPG branded hotels related to the integration. We appreciate your support in ensuring your hotels remain informed and engaged throughout this process.
As part of our continued effort to keep hotels informed, SPG hotels will continue to receive weekly email content via The Check-In, and Change Crews will have the opportunity to participate in weekly integration webinars. The weekly integration Change Crew webinars, segmented by Reservations Platform cutover wave, are held each Tuesday. Properties continue to receive details and registration information via the Weekly Update.
Franchise management company contacts also have the opportunity to participate in twice monthly webinars which are held on the second and fourth Friday of each month at 2 p.m. ET. Stay tuned to the weekly mi360 RUNDOWN for details, which will be shared the week prior to each webinar.

RESERVATIONS PLATFORM CUTOVER UPDATES | All Oct. 10 Wave and Oct. 30 Wave hotels have completed preparation tasks and certifications and have cut over to the Marriott Reservations Platforms. These hotels are now stabilizing.
Hotels should continue to complete clean-up and validation for all reservations downloaded from SPG to Marriott systems. Hotels should also continue to familiarize themselves with new systems and processes, complete their post-cutover tasks in Land-It and use the reference materials available in the Coach Zone.
Loyalty Update: FAQs Now Available for 2019 Program Collateral | New Loyalty program collateral will be introduced in 2019. To address key questions related to budget guidance and provide information about on-property collateral for 2019, new FAQs and a financial tool are available.
Newest Global Loyalty Promotion: MegaBonus®. In More Places. | With MegaBonus®. In More Places., The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, Marriott Rewards and SPG members can earn bonus points across 6,700 hotels at all 29 participating brands for the first time ever. Registration is open now through Jan. 7, 2019. Hotels are encouraged to download the available resources and promote MegaBonus®. In More Places. on property.
New EMPOWER: Guest Experiences (GXP) System Updates now Available | Updates to GXP include:
- Updates to the Guest Planning Screen (GPS), including additional filters for better customization, enhanced Upgrade Rank to reduce the number of “zero” rankings and improved system performance for faster search results and navigation.
- Ability to indicate more than one resolution reason when closing cases for better tracking of guest opportunities.

New Dynamic Contract with Superbreak | A global contract was signed with Superbreak Ltd in September which now covers SPG brands in addition to Marriott Rewards hotels. Superbreak will go live for SPG hotels once the hotels have migrated to MARSHA.
Brand Resources Now Available on Sheraton MGS Page | Sheraton resources formerly housed on the Sheraton Brand Intranet Resources page are now available on the new Sheraton Brand MGS page.
Review Brand-Specific Q4 Game Plans | The Game Plan provides a preview of actions and initiatives for the quarter inclusive of both enterprise-wide and brand work. Hotels should review their brand-specific Q4 Game Plan for action items and upcoming webinars. In the spirit of clearing the path to focus on Integration activities, most webinars in Q4 will be recorded and shared via the Weekly Update for reference.
