March Monthly Integration Recap


Franchise Management Companies | Below is a recap of the key changes shared with – and tasks asked of hotels related to the integration for the month of March. Please note, while stabilization efforts continue, the last Change Crew call for Aloft, Element, Four Points, Le Méridien, Sheraton, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Tribute Portfolio, W, and Westin hotels will be held on April 2, 2019. As part of our continued effort to keep hotels informed, hotels will continue to receive weekly email content via The Check-In and will have the opportunity to attend discipline-specific webinars and office hour sessions.

Franchise management company contacts for all hotels also have the opportunity to participate in twice-monthly webinars which are held on the second and fourth Friday of each month at 2 p.m. ET. Stay tuned to the weekly mi360 RUNDOWN for details, which will be shared the week prior to each webinar.

SUMMARY OF THIS MONTH’S KEY ACTIVITIES: 

Attend The Final Change Crew On April 2 & Review Resources | Aloft, Element, Four Points, Le Méridien, Sheraton, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Tribute Portfolio, W and Westin hotels | Property change crews are encouraged to attend the final change crew webinar on April 2. We will be joined by Erika Alexander, Chief Lodging Services Officer for The Americas, at 1 p.m. ET and Steve Heitzner, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for The Americas, at 3 p.m. ET.

Integration Center on MGS is Retiring April 1 | Certain Integration Center resources will be relocated to continent and discipline pages. The Integration Center landing page (which houses the Cleanup Tracker, Quick Links and soon the Change Crew and Big 4 webinars) will remain available after April 1 and for as long as those resources are needed.

Replace Rewarding Events Marketing Collateral with New Marriott Bonvoy™ Events Collateral |Effective March 18, Marriott’s group loyalty offering, previously known as Rewarding Events, will align with Marriott Bonvoy™ and be known as Marriott Bonvoy Events. While the program, processes and procedures are not changing at this time, properties should no longer use Rewarding Events brochures or collateral. Digital files of the Marriott Bonvoy Events Customer one-page flyer and Associate At-A-Glance are now available. View the Loyalty 2019 Land-It tasklist and MGS for more details. Note: The Ritz-Carlton Reserve locations do not participate in Marriott Bonvoy Events.

Promote Marriott Bonvoy™ ‘Double Take’ Promotion Through May 21 | Marriott Bonvoy™ members can register for Double Take through May 21. Registered members will earn double points on stays starting with their second stay from March 19 through June 4.  Properties should download available resources to promote Double Take in hotels.

Marriott Bonvoy™ GM Certification; Cobalt Training Deadline Extended Until May 8 | Ensure the GM Certification task, which was due Feb. 20, is marked as complete in Land-It. The due date for the required Cobalt training has been extended from March 22 to May 8.

Review Brand-Specific Q2 Game Plan | The Game Plan provides a preview of actions and initiatives for the upcoming quarter inclusive of both enterprise-wide and brand work.
