Extra Person Charges: Age Exception Process Update
Hotels with a high volume of multiple occupancy rooms can define extra person charges in the MARSHA Tax and Fee table to allow the extra person charges to be communicated to guests through direct channels and GDS. The default age defined in the MARSHA Tax and Fee table is 12 (i.e., guests 12 years and older will be charged as adults when Extra Person Charges are applied). If the hotel wants to change the minimum age requirement, an exception request must be submitted in ServiceNow. Review the Exception Request job aid for additional information.
