Marriott Organizational Announcement | BMSC Leadership Changes & New Brand Leadership Team
Following legal close of the Starwood acquisition, the Brand, Marketing, Sales & Consumer Services (BMSC) team has made a number of changes to their senior leadership structure in order to drive the customer-focused strategies at Marriott International. Reporting to Stephanie Linnartz, Global Chief Commercial Officer, the following leaders have been appointed new roles:

TINA EDMUNDSON | Global Brand Officer In this role, Tina oversees all 30 brands in the combined portfolio. She leads a team of global brand leaders who will help differentiate and nurture the existing Marriott International brands along with the Starwood brands. Tina previously served as Global Officer for Luxury & Lifestyle Brands. |

BRIAN KING | Global Officer for Digital, Distribution, Revenue Strategy & Solutions, and Global Sales In this role, Brian continues to oversee Global Sales, and the Digital, Distribution, Revenue Strategy and Solutions, and Customer Contact teams move under his leadership. Brian previously served as Global Officer for Marriott Signature Brands and Global Sales. |

ADAM MALAMUT | Chief Customer Experience Officer In this role, Adam leads a cross-functional customer experience strategy, defining Marriott’s customer segments and establishing critical metrics to evaluate Marriott’s success. The Consumer Insights, Customer Analytics and Insight, Strategy & Innovation teams are now part of the new Customer Experience + Innovation Organization. Adam previously served as Global Talent Officer. |
In addition to the changes to senior leadership, new brand leaders—with a combination of expertise and talent from both Starwood and Marriott—have been appointed as well. This team, reporting to Tina Edmundson, will be responsible for leading the new brand organization forward—overseeing all 30 brands for Marriott International.

BRIAN MCGUINNESS | Senior Vice President & Global Brand Leader Brian joins us as a 19-year veteran from Starwood, where he drove innovation for three distinct lifestyle brands across the specialty select business segment. Brian will partner with Mike Dearing, Managing Director of Marriott Hotels, and Matt Carroll, Vice President of Brand Management—Marriott Hotels, to execute against the MH Product Transformation Plan. |

JANIS MILHAM | Senior Vice President & Global Brand Leader A 28-year Marriott veteran, Janis has led our CFRST Brands with overall responsibility for brand positioning, long range strategic brand planning and product development globally. She now adds Four Points by Sheraton to her brand oversight. |

BRIAN POVINELLI | Senior Vice President & Global Brand Leader Brian joins us from Starwood, where he led the overall vision and strategic direction for Le Méridien and Westin. In his new role, Brian will also have oversight of Renaissance, Autograph Collection, Tribute Portfolio and Design Hotels. |

JOSH FLUHR | Vice President of Brand Management Josh continues his role overseeing EDITION, where he’s been an integral part of the brand’s senior management team, responsible for brand culture, service standards, and training/onboarding to launch EDITION. Josh has previous Starwood experience, where he led operations for Aloft and was crucial to launching the brand to the development community in record time, with unprecedented success. |

MITZI GASKINS | Vice President & Global Brand Leader Mitzi has been a valuable member of the brand team, having previously overseen the Marriott luxury portfolio in various positions. In her previous role, Mitzi was responsible for building brand preference for both customers and owners defining, developing, and executing the guest experience for The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott brand globally. In her new role, she will lead brand strategy and oversight for JW Marriott and The Luxury Collection. |

LISA HOLLADAY | Vice President & Global Brand Leader Lisa is no stranger to The Ritz-Carlton as she leaves her previous role leading brand marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. In her new role, she will oversee brand management and marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and adds the St. Regis brand to her responsibilities. |

ANTHONY INGHAM | Vice President & Global Brand Leader Joining us from Starwood, Anthony has helped build and strengthen the W Hotels brand across the globe. He brings experience and insight from developing brand strategy, creative marketing, and design aesthetic not only for W Hotels, but in previous roles overseeing St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, The Luxury Collection and Le Méridien. |

TONI STOECKL | Vice President & Global Brand Leader Toni has spent the past several years overseeing Lifestyle Brands for Marriott, including Renaissance Hotels, AC Hotels, and Moxy. In this role, Toni has defined and executed global brand strategy and signature programming for more than 225 hotels worldwide. He’s played an integral role in the future development, and global growth and marketing strategy for each brand. |
